Corporate AI Security Architect (AI/Cybersecurity): Leading the development and evolution of security architecture and governance for the enterprise AI ecosystem with an accent on LLM security and regulatory compliance. Focus on designing security standards, conducting threat modeling for AI solutions, and ensuring the protection of intellectual property and export-controlled data.

Location: Hybrid in Buffalo, NY. Must be based in or be able to relocate to the Buffalo, NY area. This position requires access to data subject to U.S. government citizenship restrictions.

Salary: $150,000–$190,000 Annually

What you will do

• Architect and lead the cybersecurity strategy, governance, and technical direction for the enterprise AI Program.
• Develop and enforce AI security policies, standards, and controls to ensure secure and compliant use of AI technologies.
• Maintain the AI compliance framework, specifically supporting ITAR and EAR regulations.
• Evaluate AI platforms and third-party vendors for security posture, data residency, and export control compliance.
• Conduct threat modeling and security architecture reviews for AI solutions before production.
• Deliver AI security metrics and regular risk reporting to executive leadership.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture with at least 2+ years focused on AI/ML security.
• Deep understanding of AI threats such as prompt injection, jailbreaking, data poisoning, and model inversion.
• Direct experience with ITAR and EAR regulations as they apply to technical data and AI/ML systems.
• Experience certifying regulated cloud environments (FedRAMP, CMMC Level 2, or DoD IL4/IL5).
• Strong knowledge of NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, and NIST AI Risk Management Framework (AI RMF).

Nice to have

• Background in adversarial machine learning and AI red-teaming methodologies.
• Experience evaluating third-party AI supply chain risks and model security controls.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC.
