What you will do

• Design and implement AI animation systems for NPC locomotion, 3D navigation, combat, and hostage behaviors.
• Process and enhance motion-capture data for the game engine.
• Export and integrate animations according to technical guidelines.
• Test and iterate animation systems in-game to ensure visual quality and functionality.
• Collaborate with animators, programmers, designers, and the Animation Director to deliver features on schedule.
• Own the final in-game animation quality and validate features through the player experience.

Requirements

• Strong experience creating gameplay animations for video games.
• Proven experience with AI animation and animation system development.
• Strong skills in motion-capture data processing.
• Understanding of technical constraints related to game-engine integration.
• Ability to collaborate across artistic and technical disciplines and solve complex production challenges.
• CV and portfolio showcasing relevant animation experience and work.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with MotionBuilder.
• Experience working on a shipped AAA title.
