What you will do
- Create 2D game art assets under the guidance of the Art Lead and Senior Artist.
- Design characters, poses, expressions, environments, backgrounds, matte paintings, and textures.
- Produce UI elements, symbols, logos, and menus for online gaming products.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and other artists to establish engaging visual experiences.
- Organize artwork according to project structures, naming conventions, goals, and brand guidelines.
- Optimize assets for HTML5, online, and mobile delivery using WebP, JPEG, PNG, TexturePacker, or similar tools.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in 2D game art and a supporting portfolio.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator.
- Ability to create simple game elements from scratch, including sketches, basic shading, and simple backgrounds.
- Basic understanding of color theory, composition, visual storytelling, game development pipelines, and online asset optimization.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Firefly or the Adobe Photoshop AI assistant.
- International business communications are primarily in English; French fluency is an asset.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with 3D tools.
- Background in casino gaming or interactive entertainment.
- Familiarity with AI-powered art tools such as Firefly, Layer.ai, or Copilot.
