Investment Associate (M&A)

TL;DR

Investment Associate (M&A) (Software): Supporting the evaluation and execution of software acquisitions with an accent on commercial and financial due diligence, target screening, and deal-cycle coordination. Focus on analyzing acquisition fit, researching software markets, and solving complex information and execution challenges across cross-functional deal teams.

Location: Remote from Ukraine, with availability required for half of each day aligned with North American business hours.

What you will do

• Analyze commercial and financial data from acquisition targets.
• Assess and present the initial strategic and financial fit of potential acquisitions.
• Research software markets, industry trends, and new acquisition opportunities.
• Identify software businesses that meet acquisition criteria and advance opportunities through the deal cycle.
• Support due diligence and ad hoc activities required to close live transactions.
• Coordinate data requests, information sharing, meetings, and execution with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Up to five years of experience in transaction advisory, financial due diligence, audit, corporate development, FP&A, accounting, revenue operations, business operations, or strategic finance within technology, software, or SaaS businesses.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards and policies.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field, with strong academic performance at a top-tier institution.
• Maturity and presence to interact effectively with C-level executives.
• Availability to work half of each day in alignment with North American office hours.
• Strong sales, communication, analytical, Microsoft Suite, written English, and spoken English skills, with close attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Progress toward CPA or CFA certification.
