What you will do

• Conduct independent remote case reviews covering medical necessity, appropriateness, and quality of care.
• Prepare evidence-based assessments and written determinations using established clinical guidelines and review criteria.
• Evaluate utilization review, appeals and hearings, quality-of-care, and standard-of-care cases.
• Maintain clinical integrity, neutrality, and objectivity throughout the review process.
• Complete cases independently within required turnaround deadlines.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted U.S. license or certification required.
• Registered or licensed oncology nurse.
• Currently practicing in oncology and seeing patients at least 20 hours per week.
• At least five years of clinical experience in the specialty.
• Strong written communication, attention to detail, and objective clinical judgment.
• Ability to work securely and independently on a computer for extended periods.

Nice to have

• Bone marrow transplant (BMT) unit experience.
