What you will do
- Transform customer healthcare source-system data into the Ingest Data Spec for ingestion into Databricks.
- Create, document, validate, and obtain customer approval for source-to-target data mappings.
- Analyze healthcare workflows and source-system structures across EHR, claims, billing, revenue cycle, laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, and related domains.
- Collaborate with customer IT and business stakeholders, technical account management, development, data modeling, data acquisition, and product management teams.
- Investigate complex source-data issues and recommend solutions for data-integrity problems.
- Perform quality assurance on transformation logic and improve adapter-development, validation, and delivery processes.
Requirements
- Must be able to work remotely from the United States and travel 1–20% within the US.
- At least 4 years of applicable experience; preferred background includes 10+ years of EMR source-system data architecture experience.
- EMR source-system certification and EPIC certification required.
- Experience with healthcare data domains such as EHR, clinical quality measures, population health, claims, billing, revenue cycle, patient accounting, or ancillary systems.
- Experience creating source-to-target data mappings and analyzing data flows; SQL proficiency preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
