What you will do

• Own the technical direction and architecture for the kids and family financial empowerment product.
• Lead solution design and quarterly planning to align architectural decisions with product and business goals.
• Develop and maintain backend services using C#, .NET Core, and SQL Server.
• Build frontend components using TypeScript and Angular.
• Mentor engineers through regular 1:1s, performance feedback, and hands-on coaching.
• Partner with Product and Design to shape the product roadmap and define feature scope.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership or lead role.
• Domain experience in banking, payments, or financial wellness technology is mandatory.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.
• Strong proficiency in Angular and TypeScript.
• Must be available to work Eastern Time Zone hours.
• Proven ability to architect scalable, secure, and high-performing systems in a regulated financial environment.

Nice to have

• Mobile app development experience (iOS, Android, or frameworks like React Native or MAUI).
• Experience building consumer-facing financial apps, especially for families or kids.
• Familiarity with credit union or community banking platforms and integrations.
• Background in financial wellness, budgeting tools, or savings products.
