What you will do

• Own medium-complexity platform engineering, DevOps, and CI/CD initiatives from design through production support.
• Build and improve developer platforms, release automation, and engineering workflows for reliable cloud-native delivery.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, and related tooling.
• Operate and improve AWS infrastructure, Amazon EKS environments, Kubernetes deployments, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Develop automation, observability, and secure engineering practices using Python, Groovy, Bash, Terraform, and DevSecOps tooling.
• Troubleshoot production issues, participate in on-call rotations, communicate technical decisions, and mentor less experienced engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, release engineering, cloud infrastructure, software engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong experience with AWS, Kubernetes in production, Amazon EKS, Docker, Linux administration, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience designing and maintaining Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong programming and automation skills with Python and Groovy, plus working knowledge of Bash.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub workflows, Jenkins, Artifactory, release management, and developer automation platforms.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Azure, Ansible, Packer, Chef, or similar automation framework experience.
• Experience supporting Java/Spring Boot applications in production.
• Experience with DevSecOps tools such as Black Duck, Prisma Cloud, or Veracode.
• Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT Enterprise.
