Senior DevOps Engineer (SaaS)

TL;DR

Location: Remote within Canada (PST working hours). Note: Final interview and a 30-day immersion program are required onsite.

Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 CAD/year

What you will do

• Design and implement highly available, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure for Software and SaaS platforms.
• Lead automation initiatives for infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and operational workflows.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable safe and efficient software delivery.
• Partner with engineering and security teams to embed reliability and operability into system design.
• Own and enhance observability using monitoring, logging, and alerting dashboards.
• Respond to production incidents, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or platform engineering.
• Must be based in Canada and able to align with PST working hours.
• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and configuration management (Ansible).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong scripting skills using Python or Bash.

Nice to have

• Practical experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
