Senior Machine Learning Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Stockholm, Sweden.

What you will do

• Define ML and AI tooling, evaluation standards, production practices, and model quality criteria.
• Build and operate fraud, risk, churn, forecasting, pricing, and segmentation models.
• Own the full ML lifecycle from stakeholder scoping and data preparation through deployment, monitoring, retraining, and measurement.
• Develop RAG pipelines, prompt orchestration, tool-use workflows, and evaluation harnesses for customer support automation.
• Move LLM capabilities into user-facing product features and guide AI investment decisions.
• Partner with the Head of Data and another ML/AI engineer to build the ML/AI capability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on machine learning engineering experience with Python and production ownership.
• Strong knowledge of feature engineering, model selection, validation, monitoring, retraining, and model CI/CD.
• Experience owning the full lifecycle from business problem definition through deployment and iteration.
• Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or equivalent, including RAG systems, agentic workflows, or LLM-backed products.
• Experience with vector databases, embeddings, prompt evaluation, a major cloud platform, containers, and modern data stacks.
• Strong written and spoken English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with MLflow, Airflow, Kubernetes, and feature stores.
• Background in fintech, payments, telecom, or other regulated and operational domains.
• Obsession with staying current on developments in AI.
