Salary: $155,700 – $181,650

What you will do

• Lead the EHSS workstream for U.S. small molecule expansion projects in partnership with Global Engineering and stakeholders.
• Develop and implement EHSS, Sustainability, and Security programs to ensure regulatory compliance and environmental stewardship.
• Provide EHSS risk assessments and strategic guidance for site selection, growth initiatives, and potential M&A opportunities.
• Establish EHSS requirements and standards for facility design, construction, commissioning, and qualification.
• Lead Process Safety Management (PSM) and EHS risk management activities, including PHA, HAZOP, and MOC.
• Oversee sustainability programs and coordinate internal, corporate, customer, and regulatory audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive EHSS leadership experience within pharmaceutical, API, biotechnology, or chemical manufacturing.
• Experience supporting major capital projects, facility start-ups, or greenfield developments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, PSM, industrial hygiene, and sustainability programs.
• Experience implementing EHSS programs within GMP-regulated chemical process manufacturing environments.
• Willingness and ability to travel to EMEA and NA approximately 25-30% of the time.
