What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain automated UI, integration, and regression test frameworks using Kotlin.
• Own Jetpack Compose UI automation and end-to-end scenarios executed on real POS hardware.
• Perform manual testing on physical devices, peripherals, and Android system services.
• Validate integrations with backend APIs, NFC credential reading, and hardware-connected mobile workflows.
• Define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and risk-based test plans with engineers and product owners.
• Triage failures, support root-cause analysis, and improve quality throughout planning, release, and post-release validation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in QA automation, SDET, or software quality engineering.
• Hands-on experience designing maintainable and scalable automated test frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin or Java for automation code, test utilities, and debugging.
• Experience with source control, code reviews, test lifecycle practices, defect triage, and root-cause analysis.
• Experience working with Agile processes, especially Scrum, together with strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Comfort using AI-assisted tools for QA while carefully validating their outputs.

• Android UI automation and Jetpack Compose testing experience.
• Experience testing real devices, target hardware profiles, NFC, and peripheral interactions.
• REST API and integration test automation experience.
• Experience with CI tooling, test reporting, and quality metrics.
