Product Engineering Analyst (Automotive Interior & Exterior) (SMT): Designing, developing, implementing, and sustaining automotive plastic parts and subsystems for vehicle interiors and exteriors with an accent on product performance, quality, cost, timing, and regulatory compliance. Focus on executing engineering strategies for on-time vehicle launches, coordinating with multicultural global teams, and solving complex product development and quality challenges.

Location: São Caetano do Sul, São Paulo, Brazil; hybrid work with on-site attendance three times per week from Tuesday to Thursday. Travel is required sporadically and will not exceed 25%. • Design, develop, implement, and sustain automotive plastic parts and subsystems for vehicle interiors and exteriors.
• Own product performance, quality, cost, and timing throughout development.
• Execute engineering strategies to support compliant, on-time vehicle launches.
• Coordinate with global and multicultural teams across international markets.
• Support cross-functional alignment when priorities differ among stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
• Previous automotive industry experience, preferably with plastic parts or subsystems.
• Project management skills.
• Advanced English proficiency for written and oral communication.
• Results-oriented approach with a focus on quality, cost, and efficiency.
• Active Brazilian driver’s license (CNH) and availability for sporadic travel.

Nice to have

• Experience developing and launching vehicle parts or subsystems.
• Knowledge of plastic injection molding tools.
• Understanding of quality tools, methodologies, and their application.
• AI literacy and experience using new tools to support digital transformation and work efficiency.
