What you will do

• Perform complex repairs, rework, overhauls, and restoration of parts, subsystems, and complete robots.
• Deliver approved upgrades and certify complex repair work to specification.
• Lead physical troubleshooting and forensic analysis, determine root causes, and support supplier and customer warranty decisions.
• Act as a field repair specialist for the most difficult customer-site interventions.
• Author clear work instructions with Product Services Engineering and Training.
• Mentor associate and advanced technicians while helping develop career paths and skills frameworks.

Requirements

• Mechanical or electrical technician training with approximately 5+ years of hands-on repair experience and deep specialization.
• Proven ability to overhaul and restore complex electromechanical systems and complete robots to specification.
• Strong forensic troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills, including evidence-based warranty determinations.
• Ability to write work instructions and mentor other technicians.
• Rigorous quality, certification, 5S, and health-and-safety discipline.
• Willingness to travel for on-site interventions.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global, legged, or advanced robotics hardware.
• Knowledge of calibration, metrology, and testing or certification for precision mechatronics.
• Exposure to failure analysis, supplier quality, and warranty processes.
• Experience establishing or scaling a repair or refurbishment operation.
