Internship - Financial Controller (Finance)

What you will do

• Support annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and rolling forecasts.
• Assist with month-end close, cost center accounting, variance analysis, and cost allocations.
• Prepare management reports covering P&L, cash flow, balance sheet, and KPIs.
• Extract, validate, reconcile, and analyze data from ERP and BI tools.
• Collaborate with business partners to explain performance drivers and provide financial insights.
• Maintain controlling documentation and support process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in university studies in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Controlling, Business, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of managerial or financial accounting and budgeting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, filters, lookups, and basic formulas.
• Intermediate English proficiency required for spoken and written communication.
• No prior professional experience is required; training is provided.

Nice to have

• Exposure to driver-based planning, KPI development, or scenario analysis.
• Experience reviewing actuals against budgets with cost center managers.
• Interest in reporting automation and data integrity improvements.
