Deployment Support Engineer (Kubernetes)

TL;DR

What you will do

• Lead remote deployments of MES and application environments, validating dependencies, compatibility, and installation readiness.
• Manage environment governance, access controls, quotas, expiration rules, and secure customer workflows.
• Monitor and optimize CPU, memory, storage, cluster health, capacity, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Deploy and support solutions in DMZ and restricted network environments, including firewall, routing, reverse proxy, and TLS configurations.
• Investigate and resolve complex installation and post-installation issues using logs, containers, pods, events, and system traces.
• Advise customers and partners on infrastructure, virtualization, container platforms, networking, automation, observability, and deployment best practices.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes or OpenShift, including containerized deployments, pod troubleshooting, logs, events, networking, and health checks.
• Solid Linux administration knowledge, including networking, volumes, system services, and journaling.
• Hands-on experience with VMware or Hyper-V for virtual machine provisioning, configuration, and snapshots.
• Strong investigative, troubleshooting, organization, prioritization, ownership, and continuous-improvement skills.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and excellent written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka, ClickHouse, SQL Server, reverse proxies, TLS certificates, or secure network architectures.
• Knowledge of MES, manufacturing, semiconductor, electronics, medical-device, or industrial-equipment environments.
• ITIL knowledge, particularly change, incident, and problem management.
• Experience with reporting and analytics data platforms, log aggregation, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CI/CD, PowerShell, or Bash automation.
