What you will do

• Monitor and analyze incoming security alerts from EDR and SIEM tools.
• Distinguish false positives from genuine security threats.
• Perform basic alert enrichment and gather relevant context.
• Document findings clearly and consistently.
• Escalate relevant incidents to senior analysts.
• Develop SOC skills through real-world cases, onboarding, and collaboration.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of networks, operating systems, and IT infrastructure.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts including alerts, logs, and incidents.
• Exposure to security operations through studies, an internship, or relevant work.
• Strong attention to detail, structured working habits, and clear documentation skills.
• Fluent English and fluent German or Dutch required for internal and client communication.
• Motivation to learn and grow in a hands-on cybersecurity environment.

Nice to have

• Exposure to EDR or SIEM tools.
• Basic scripting knowledge in Python or Bash.
• Previous hands-on experience in a SOC or similar environment.
