What you will do

• Own the frontend architecture for a new, greenfield AI product from assessment through implementation.
• Design and build a customer-facing user interface with strong product and UX judgment.
• Develop and maintain frontend systems, primarily using TypeScript while adapting to the team's technology choices.
• Contribute to backend development by working with APIs, databases, data structures, and system design.
• Take end-to-end ownership of technical approaches, architecture decisions, and delivery.
• Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code as a central part of the development workflow.

Requirements

• Strong frontend fundamentals and the ability to make independent architectural decisions.
• Practical product and UX sense gained from building customer-facing products for real end users.
• Solid understanding of backend fundamentals, databases, data structures, APIs, and general system design.
• Experience working across multiple technology stacks and adapting to unfamiliar tools.
• Demonstrated ownership of projects built from zero, including defining the approach and direction.
• Heavy, hands-on fluency with AI coding tools as a core development practice.

Nice to have

• Startup experience in an ambiguous, fast-changing environment.
• Experience building backend systems with Node or similar technologies.
• Experience working on a small, high-caliber team with limited process and significant architectural autonomy.
