Haskell Developer (Backend)

Location: Remote-friendly role with US-based employment indicators and location-dependent compensation.

Salary: $159,000–$205,000 base salary, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Partner with product, design, and engineering to deliver high-quality backend solutions aligned with business priorities.
• Break down complex technical problems, provide guidance, shape scope, and communicate tradeoffs in writing.
• Own delivery end to end and move features quickly from development into production.
• Use feedback and real-world results to iteratively improve solutions.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of backend development experience and knowledge of, or enthusiasm to learn, Haskell.
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and PostgreSQL databases.
• Strong testing and technical documentation practices.
• Strong technical judgment, pragmatic problem-solving skills, and the ability to articulate tradeoffs.
• Ownership, accountability, collaboration, and focus on user and business outcomes.
