Senior Engineer (Blockchain)

What you will do

• Architect and build scalable backend services using Rails, Go, Sidekiq, REST, AWS, and Docker.
• Design and maintain high-volume APIs for frontend applications and external traders.
• Drive architectural decisions and ensure long-term production code quality.
• Manage custody solutions for cryptocurrencies, tokens, and other digital assets with strong security and compliance controls.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers throughout product development.
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and development processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience building scalable distributed systems.
• Strong Ruby experience; Go experience is advantageous.
• Good understanding of API development practices and distributed-system architecture.
• Ability to scope solutions, work independently, and operate effectively in ambiguous environments.
• Knowledge of blockchain cryptography, security principles, and cryptocurrency compliance and regulatory frameworks.
