What you will do

• Augment and maintain the Bazel-based build system for firmware and safety-critical software workflows.
• Integrate and automate specialized third-party tooling required for functional safety development.
• Architect and deploy robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to enhance developer velocity and traceability.
• Design and manage infrastructure for automated hardware testing, including hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) environments.
• Create internal Python tooling to bridge build, test, and analysis systems.
• Partner with firmware engineers to ensure high reliability and reproducibility in the firmware integration system.

Requirements

• Proven expertise with Bazel, Git, and complex CI/CD ecosystems (GitHub Actions and custom runners).
• Advanced proficiency in Python for architecting internal tooling and system integrations.
• Experience with embedded toolchains (e.g., GNU, LLVM/Clang), cross-compilation, and build pipeline optimization.
• Experience with automated test infrastructure, specifically hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) or lab automation.
• Ability to implement the rigor and reproducibility required for safety-critical software.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Boston, MA.
