What you will do

• Transform validated proof-of-concepts into production-grade computer vision workflows.
• Deploy and operate CV systems on edge hardware in physical environments where connectivity is unreliable.
• Embed with customer engineering teams for 4–12 week engagements to build trust and transfer knowledge.
• Write production-grade code handling real-world constraints like lighting variability and network latency.
• Surface gaps between customer requests and actual needs to shape the hirify.global product roadmap.
• Document deployment architectures and create runbooks for handoff to Implementation Engineers.

Requirements

• Experience deploying technology in physical-world environments (factories, warehouses, labs).
• Strong proficiency in Python and systems-level work (Docker, Kubernetes, Linux).
• Hands-on experience deploying machine learning or computer vision models to production.
• Experience with edge computing hardware such as NVIDIA Jetson and industrial cameras.
• Willingness to travel 40–50% for on-site customer deployments.
• Must be based in the US to align with the company's primary operating hours.

Nice to have

• Experience in professional services or forward deployed engineering roles.
• Familiarity with CV/MLOps tooling, including model versioning and monitoring.
• Deep industrial subject matter expertise regarding production line throughput and inspection.
• Background in IoT or embedded systems.
• Personal passion for tinkering with hardware (e.g., Raspberry Pi, 3D printers).
