TL;DR
DevOps Engineer (Blockchain): Building and operating secure, production-grade infrastructure for blockchain and digital asset platforms with an accent on cloud environments, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and security automation. Focus on deploying resilient systems for regulated banking and institutional environments, improving observability, and supporting complex production releases and incident response.
Location: On-site in Switzerland, with a focus on Zurich and Lugano

What you will do
- Build and operate cloud infrastructure for blockchain, custody, payments, and digital asset platforms.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment, testing, and release management.
- Deploy containerized applications and manage infrastructure across AWS, Azure, hybrid, and on-premise environments.
- Implement security hardening, secrets management, encryption, access controls, and compliance controls.
- Develop monitoring, logging, and alerting systems and support production go-lives and incident response.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, delivery teams, product teams, and client technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, or infrastructure operations.
- Hands-on infrastructure experience in fintech, financial services, or other regulated environments.
- Strong experience with AWS and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, Go, or similar languages, plus a strong understanding of security, networking, and compliance.
- English is required; the role is on-site in Switzerland.
Nice to have
- Experience operating Bitcoin nodes, Lightning Network infrastructure, or similar blockchain systems.
- Knowledge of distributed systems, observability platforms, service mesh, API gateways, or load balancing.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, or similar certification.
- Swiss German, German, French, or Italian.
- Interest in Bitcoin, digital assets, and blockchain-based financial infrastructure.
