hirify.global is building a private and secure digital identity platform that allows businesses to verify real people across borders through a single API.

What you will do

• Design and develop the core backend systems and high-availability infrastructure of the hConnect platform.
• Integrate the platform with national electronic ID (eID) systems and external identity services worldwide.
• Develop and maintain reliable, scalable APIs to enable seamless integration with internal services and external partners.
• Improve system stability to handle future traffic growth and feature expansion.
• Collaborate through code reviews to maintain a culture of engineering excellence and clean code.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of Node.js and TypeScript.
• At least 2 years of professional backend development experience.
• Proactive problem-solving ability and comfort navigating ambiguity in undefined situations.
• Deep technical curiosity and willingness to explore how technologies work at their core.
• Strong transparent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Practical experience with OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and Access Token flows.
• Experience building early-stage (0-to-1) products and scaling them to meet business goals.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, RabbitMQ/Kafka, and cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
• Expertise in designing architectures that support high-volume traffic.
• Experience with API Gateway, PaaS, or SaaS development.
