What you will do

• Improve and maintain the order book, perpetuals engine, risk engine, and leverage and margin systems.
• Configure market parameters including funding, fees, tick and lot sizes, margin tiers, and liquidation thresholds.
• Design and ship on-chain financial primitives such as vaults, protocol AMMs, prediction markets, and derivatives.
• Build and operate the internal market maker while partnering with external market makers to deepen liquidity.
• Monitor live markets, identify anomalies, and improve risk safeguards and operating parameters.
• Collaborate with research on incentive design, batch auctions, and settlement models.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of market microstructure, order books, derivatives, perpetuals, margin, liquidation, and funding mechanics.
• Hands-on experience in market making, quantitative trading, or designing and operating exchange and trading systems.
• Ability to translate market knowledge into production code using Python, Rust, C++, or Go.
• Ability to reason about correctness and edge cases under live trading conditions.
• Ability to work remotely from the EU, UK, or North America.

Nice to have

• DeFi and on-chain trading experience, including AMMs, perpetual DEXs, vault strategies, or prediction markets.
• Experience with low-latency or high-frequency trading systems.
• Knowledge of blockchains, consensus, or distributed systems.
