DevOps Engineer (AWS)

TL;DR

DevOps Engineer (AWS): Development and optimization of Cloud Development tools and the development environment, with an accent on AWS infrastructure, infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD automation. Focus on building maintainable deployment pipelines, improving service reliability, and integrating AI tooling for developer workflows at scale.

Location: Katowice, Poland. Must be located in Poland and have EU citizenship. Occasional business trips abroad and office visits in Katowice.

Salary: 12 000-16 000 PLN gross/month (UoP) or 100-140 PLN net/h (B2B).

What you will do

• Implement and maintain Cloud Development tools and the development environment used across the organization.
• Own code quality through team code reviews, SonarQube checks, and applying Cosmos best practices.
• Continuously improve existing services by identifying optimization opportunities.
• Automate deployment, configuration, and monitoring using GitLab, CI/CD, and scripting.
• Write unit and integration tests to support development and deployment confidence.
• Collaborate with architects, system administrators, and developers; participate in agile ceremonies and documentation.

Requirements

• AWS: strong hands-on experience.
• Hands-on Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK) and GitLab pipelines.
• Advanced software development experience (Git, Python, TypeScript).
• Good knowledge of IT security principles.
• EU citizenship.
• Fluent English: B2/C1.

• AWS certifications.
