What you will do

• Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping, invoice management, and expense reimbursement review.
• Support monthly and quarterly financial closing procedures.
• Prepare documentation for tax filings including VAT, Corporate Income Tax, and Individual Income Tax.
• Assist with intercompany reconciliation and cross-border transaction documentation.
• Organize and archive accounting vouchers and contracts in compliance with PRC accounting standards.

Requirements

• Must be an undergraduate or graduate student majoring in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in English and Chinese (written and spoken) is essential.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Must be available for a 6-month internship, with a minimum of 4 days per week.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information securely.

Nice to have

• Basic understanding of Chinese Accounting Standards (CAS) and the PRC tax regime.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite or SAP.
• Interest in cross-border and multinational finance and tax matters.
