Senior Software Engineer, Internal Products&Processes (Node.js)

Location: Hybrid (Bucharest, Romania). At least 12 monthly in-office days required.

What you will do

• Architect, design, develop, and deploy internal backend systems and AI tooling using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Build company-wide products that directly impact the daily workflows of thousands of employees.
• Take full ownership of technical direction and architecture for the systems you build.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from People, Legal, Finance, and Engineering to design scalable APIs.
• Lead features from ideation to execution, working with Product to deliver incremental value.
• Promote engineering best practices and share knowledge through tech talks.

Requirements

• Experience with microservice architecture and API design.
• Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Proficiency in writing clean, secure, and maintainable code.
• Ability to collaborate with non-engineering stakeholders to productize manual processes.
• Must be based in or able to work in Bucharest, Romania (Hybrid).
