Location: Remote camp operations in Nunavut, Canada; air travel to site is provided from Edmonton, Alberta, and the selected candidate must provide transportation to Edmonton. The role follows a 4-weeks-on/2-weeks-off rotation and may include nights, weekends, weekdays, and holidays.
Salary: Starting at CAD $29.00 per hour, approximately CAD $5,026 per month based on 40 hours per week; group benefits are included from the date of hire.

What you will do
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial kitchen appliances and electrical systems.
- Maintain and repair plumbing systems, lift stations, and related infrastructure.
- Inspect equipment and systems for safety and regulatory compliance.
- Install and commission new kitchen appliances, plumbing systems, and electrical equipment.
- Document maintenance activities, manage spare-parts inventory, and order supplies.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and collaborate with maintenance staff and camp management to minimize downtime.
Requirements
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract.
- Hands-on experience with refrigeration units, ovens, fryers, dishwashers, and other commercial kitchen equipment.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, lift stations, electrical circuits, and diagnostic tools.
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs and maintenance record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently in remote or fly-in/fly-out camp environments, including extreme weather and confined spaces.
- Ability to pass the required Drug and Alcohol and Fitness Test. Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual maintenance work is required.
Nice to have
- Journeyman Plumber or Electrician certification.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Experience in industrial or commercial remote camps in Canada.
