Smart Contract Engineer

Location: Remote. Work during US-friendly hours, specifically in the PST/EST time zones.

Overview

You will advance Agora's governance smart contracts, collaborating with product, engineering, and client-facing teams to deliver scalable solutions for key crypto protocols. You will architect modular and upgradeable smart contract solutions for Agora Governor, tackling complex governance challenges on both EVM and non-EVM chains.

What you will do

• Write clear, maintainable, and secure smart contract code.
• Design and architect modular and upgradeable smart contract solutions.
• Lead rigorous testing, auditing, and penetration tests to ensure bulletproof contracts.
• Partner with leading clients (Optimism, ENS, Uniswap, Scroll) to design governance features aligned with their unique ecosystems.
• Stay ahead with emerging tech like MACI private voting, ZK-proofs, WorldID integration, and novel governance structures.
