What you will do

• Contribute to the architectural roadmap for the Simulation Scenario Definition platform and its programmatic Python SDK.
• Lead the design and implementation of next-generation graphical editing tools used for defining complex traffic, environment, and sensor scenarios.
• Drive the evolution of Python infrastructure, focusing on serialization, validation, and integration with large-scale cloud compute clusters.
• Act as a hands-on mentor, setting engineering standards for API design, code quality, and testing practices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, specifically in large-scale platforms, tooling, or SDK development.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python, including performance optimization and building robust APIs for external consumers.
• Solid foundation in 3D graphics, computational geometry, and/or real-time simulation concepts.
• Proven ability to lead technical projects from concept to production.
• Track record of mentoring and coaching mid-level and senior engineers.

Nice to have

• Experience with C++ for performance-critical components or simulation engine integration.
• Experience developing or extending a Domain-Specific Language (DSL) or high-level scripting language.
• Background in professional simulation software or game engines like Unity or Unreal.
• Knowledge of data visualization techniques for large, complex datasets.
• Familiarity with Autonomous Vehicle (AV) technology architecture, such as perception, planning, and controls.
