Analytics Engineer

Location: Hong Kong, Hong Kong SAR

What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable user behavior data governance frameworks.
• Develop internal data tools and dashboards using JavaScript or Python.
• Build automated web-scraping systems for competitive intelligence.
• Apply machine learning and advanced analytics to business data.

Requirements

• Expert-level SQL and strong Python or JavaScript skills.
• Experience with data governance and event instrumentation tools (Segment, GA4, Mixpanel).
• Proven expertise in data pipelines and ETL/ELT frameworks (dbt, Airflow, Talend).
• Competency in web scraping technologies and workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud data warehouses and BI tools.
• Familiarity with software development workflows and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of machine learning libraries.
• Front-end development experience for internal tools.
• Understanding of data privacy and legal compliance in data governance.
