Location: Remote (Global)
What you will do
- Ensure 24/7 service uptime by developing self-healing, automated systems with fair on-call rotation.
- Define and monitor Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and critical metrics for system reliability.
- Develop incident response playbooks and robust monitoring and alerting systems.
- Collaborate with blockchain, middleware, and application teams to ensure security and availability.
- Engage with a globally distributed team and participate in open-source projects.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Site Reliability, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
- Proficiency in Python, UNIX internals, and cloud provisioning tools (Terraform, Packer, Ansible, Docker).
- Experience with monitoring (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog) and CI/CD tools (Github Actions, BuildKite, Jenkins).
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Strong automation and tooling experience.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in distributed teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with Rust and/or Go.
- Familiarity with multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOps.
- Basic understanding of blockchain technology and Web3.
