Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Remote (Global)

What you will do

• Ensure 24/7 service uptime by developing self-healing, automated systems with fair on-call rotation.
• Define and monitor Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and critical metrics for system reliability.
• Develop incident response playbooks and robust monitoring and alerting systems.
• Collaborate with blockchain, middleware, and application teams to ensure security and availability.
• Engage with a globally distributed team and participate in open-source projects.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Site Reliability, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, UNIX internals, and cloud provisioning tools (Terraform, Packer, Ansible, Docker).
• Experience with monitoring (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog) and CI/CD tools (Github Actions, BuildKite, Jenkins).
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong automation and tooling experience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in distributed teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Rust and/or Go.
• Familiarity with multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOps.
• Basic understanding of blockchain technology and Web3.
