What you will do

• Design, provision, and manage on-premises and AWS infrastructure using Terraform and IaC principles.
• Develop automation scripts in Bash/Shell to streamline operational tasks and deployments.
• Enhance and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure consistent software delivery across data infrastructure.
• Implement robust monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively detect anomalies and performance issues.
• Orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes and Nomad for efficient scaling.
• Manage RBAC and permissions for diverse user groups and machine workflows across environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of experience as an SRE, Infrastructure, Platform, or DevOps Engineer.
• Must be based in Paraguay or Uruguay.
• Proficiency in Bash/Shell and at least one programming language (preferably Python, Golang, or Rust).
• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker or Podman.
• Ability to leverage AI tools and agents (e.g., Claude, OpenAI) to deliver business value.

Nice to have

• Experience operating data systems like Kafka, Redis, ElasticSearch, MariaDB, AirFlow, or ScyllaDB.
• Experience with SaaS platforms such as Splunk, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, or Cloudflare.
• Experience running Kubernetes as a Platform offering for engineering teams at scale.
• Knowledge of IaC tools like Terragrunt and Atlantis.
