What you will do

• Implement, optimize, and maintain the Splunk SIEM infrastructure using SDLC methodologies.
• Manage and monitor Linux-based on-prem server infrastructure for configuration and upgrades.
• Develop and deploy custom apps, reports, alerts, and dashboards to improve data visibility.
• Lead prototyping and testing of new security features and SIEM components.
• Provide technical mentoring to Tier II technicians and junior security engineers.
• Ensure continuous improvement of the Splunk environment through industry best practices.

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen or eligible to obtain Public Trust level clearance.
• Certified Splunk Architect certification is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in IT infrastructure, architecture, or security, including 6 years of Splunk expertise.
• Extensive knowledge of SIEM front and back-end operations, Enterprise Security, and RBA.
• Strong Linux administration skills and experience with shell scripting/Regex.

• Additional Splunk certifications.
• Security certifications such as CEH, CySA+, GSEC, CISM, CCNA, Security+, or Linux+.
