What you will do
- Plan, schedule, and manage complex design and master planning projects for solid-waste sites, including landfills and transfer stations.
- Develop detailed design drawings, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
- Design stormwater management and erosion control systems.
- Prepare technical reports and studies to secure necessary project permits.
- Mentor and teach junior engineering staff across the Mid-Atlantic region.
- Perform site visits to evaluate conditions and monitor construction progress.
Requirements
- BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in solid waste or closely related projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Must be willing and capable of traveling throughout the Mid-Atlantic.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with regulators, clients, and internal teams.
