What you will do

• Design and maintain the OS platform for on-bot devices and applications.
• Architect platform-level software to support robust and scalable robotics infrastructure.
• Configure and manage embedded Linux build systems using Yocto and bootloader processes like U-Boot.
• Develop and optimize device drivers and kernel-space components using C, C++, or Rust.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support hardware bring-up and manufacturing functions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience delivering production systems and 2+ years delivering custom Embedded Linux operating systems.
• Deep understanding of Linux, Yocto build systems, and U-Boot bootloaders.
• Knowledge of Linux init systems (systemd), containerization concepts (cgroups, namespaces), and filesystems.
• Proficiency in a language without automatic memory management (C or C++) and scripting languages like Bash and Python.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with embedded Linux in a robotics application.
• Familiarity with security software: PKI, secure boot, OTA software updates, and hardware key storage.
• Experience with Nvidia GPUs, Thor/Orin, Cuda, and TRT.
• Graduate degree focusing on networking, operating systems, or firmware.
