What you will do

• Prototype and iterate on perception algorithms for 3D detection and tracking using real-world data and simulations.
• Formulate long-term solutions for semantic understanding of traffic scenes based on deep learning and computer vision research.
• Deploy perception algorithms into self-driving vehicles in collaboration with platform teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Champion engineering excellence by writing high-quality, well-structured, and tested code.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on motion forecasting, planning, and sensor simulation.
• Contribute to research publications in top conferences and the company blog.

Requirements

• MS/PhD or Bachelors with at least 4 years of industry experience in CS, ML, or similar technical fields.
• Experience shipping machine learning models and features into production.
• Expertise in 3D detection, traffic agent tracking, or semantic scene understanding.
• Proficiency in Python with a focus on writing high-quality, production-ready code.
• Strong grasp of current machine learning and computer vision literature.
• Must be based in the US or Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience in multimodal sensor fusion or self-driving technology.
• Publications in top-tier CV, ML, or robotics conferences.
• Proficiency in Pytorch, Rust, C++, and/or CUDA.
