What you will do

• Design, enhance, and operate the models and data pipelines used to assign customer risk ratings.
• Translate complex business problems into viable data science solutions using Python and Oracle SQL.
• Collaborate with data engineers and software engineers to develop scalable and sustainable analytics solutions.
• Visualize insights and communicate complex data analysis to non-technical stakeholders and executive management.
• Ensure all programs and practices align with internal risk appetite and external regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in data science or a related technical field.
• Must have authorization to work in the US without sponsorship (H-1B, F-1 OPT, etc. are not eligible).
• Undergraduate or advanced degree in math, physics, engineering, finance, or computer science.
• Advanced proficiency in Oracle SQL, including performance tuning of large production queries.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, Databricks, and Spark-based analytics at scale.

Nice to have

• Experience in AML/BSA, KYC, sanctions, or broader financial crime compliance.
• Experience operating in a model-governed environment, including change documentation and validation.
• Experience supporting regulatory exams or internal audit requests.
