Salary: $162,500 – $260,400 USD per year

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable data engineering solutions and big data systems.
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of data pipelines, ensuring data quality, integrity, and consistency across platforms.
• Guide engineering teams in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues in distributed systems.
• Drive the adoption of automation, CI/CD, and quality engineering practices at scale.
• Coach and mentor engineering teams to foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with product, QA, risk, compliance, and security functions to deliver safe, customer-centric solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant work experience (or Advanced degree/PhD with equivalent experience).
• Proven experience leading teams in the design and deployment of large-scale data engineering solutions.
• Proficiency with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
• Strong experience with Python, SQL, and version control systems like Git.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for data engineering.
