Salary: $125,700 – $138,900

What you will do

• Design and maintain core systems to ensure reliable, high-performing simulator operation.
• Modernize legacy simulator systems through enhancements and stability optimizations.
• Collaborate with software and hardware teams to integrate components into Realtime training devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues across modern and legacy platforms.
• Support system reviews and cross-functional innovation for next-generation training capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering for mission-critical or real-time environments.
• U.S. citizenship is strictly required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and Special Program Access.
• Flexibility for occasional overtime, shift work, weekend work, and CONUS travel.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, and MIL-STD-704.
• Experience with ARINC or RTCA standards.
• Experience working in Waterfall and/or Agile/Scrum environments.
• Prior defense or military industry experience.
