What you will do
- Design and maintain scalable automated ETL/ELT data pipelines and robust data models.
- Develop sophisticated dashboards and reporting tools for executive leadership and analysts.
- Establish data governance practices, including documentation and metadata management.
- Audit and optimize SQL queries and dashboard performance for large datasets.
- Act as a technical consultant to non-technical departments to define KPIs.
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on modeling and visualization best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in BI engineering, data engineering, or technical analytics.
- Expert-level SQL skills including complex joins and window functions.
- Deep practical experience with cloud data warehouses like Databricks, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
- Strong understanding of dimensional modeling and modern data stack tools like dbt.
- Expertise in at least one enterprise BI platform such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Sigma.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field.
Nice to have
- Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning concepts.
- Experience with Salesforce and the ResTech industry.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
