What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI solutions: dashboards, reports, and advanced data analytics.
• Build and optimize data models; improve report/dashboard performance by speeding up queries and ensuring efficient model design.
• Manage data ingestion and processing, including closed-to-real-time processing, batch processing, and ETL across multiple data storages.
• Tune performance of complex SQL and DAX queries; identify gaps and improve platform quality, robustness, maintainability, and speed.
• Contribute to team activities and community building; participate in conferences and share best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience developing BI solutions with Power BI.
• Proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service, including report/dashboard creation, data transformations, and DAX formulas.
• Strong expertise in DAX for complex calculations.
• Experience with Power Query for data transformations and ETL processes.
• 3+ years of SQL coding (Azure SQL DB or MSSQL preferable) and solid CS fundamentals (data structures and algorithm design).
• Experience with Azure Data Services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, etc.) and production deployments of large backend data processing/analysis systems.
