Developer Advocate (AI)

Location: Remote within California, USA

Salary: $101,600–$152,500 annually

What you will do

• Create tutorials, videos, demos, blogs, how-to guides, workshops, and Agent Skills for developers.
• Explore agent-driven development scenarios and share practical experiments with the developer community.
• Run office hours, workshops, webinars, livestreams, meetups, and other developer engagement programs.
• Answer developer questions, troubleshoot issues, and escalate recurring bugs and product gaps.
• Speak at developer conferences and represent hirify.global in developer ecosystems.
• Partner with engineers, architects, product managers, partners, and go-to-market teams to improve developer experience.

Requirements

• 2+ years of related technology experience as a developer, developer advocate, solutions architect, technical product manager, technical writer, or developer educator.
• Experience independently building technical content, code samples, demos, tutorials, or workshops for developer audiences.
• Working knowledge of software development practices, APIs, authentication, testing, CI/CD, version control, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one other common programming language, such as JavaScript, Go, or Rust.
• Experience managing code repositories and collaborative workflows with GitHub.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly, troubleshoot developer issues, and present technical content externally.

Nice to have

• Experience with VS Code, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, or similar AI-assisted development environments.
• Familiarity with analytics workflows, including data ingestion, data management, model development, and model deployment.
• Knowledge of MCP, RAG, Agent Skills, LangChain, and LangGraph.
