What you will do

• Manage all financial accounting, reporting activities, and the month-end closing process.
• Oversee accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow forecasting.
• Act as the primary owner of the NetSuite ERP environment, optimizing processes and system functionality.
• Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial records.
• Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team to foster a high-performing culture.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation across the finance department, including leveraging AI-driven solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounting and financial reporting, preferably in a fast-growing or international environment.
• Strong understanding of month-end close, reconciliations, AP processes, and financial controls.
• In-depth knowledge of NetSuite ERP is highly preferred.
• Experience supporting audits and working with external auditors.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial matters to non-finance stakeholders.
• Ability to work on-site in Amsterdam.
