Junior Payment Operations Associate (E-commerce)

What you will do

• Post and reconcile daily bank and payment transactions in financial systems.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing payments across multiple payment methods.
• Investigate and flag discrepancies, settlement differences, and payment-related issues.
• Maintain complete documentation and prepare regular reports on payment volumes, performance, and status.
• Serve as a first point of contact for internal payment inquiries.
• Support testing and implementation of new payment methods and system improvements.

Requirements

• Completed commercial training or a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Fluent German and confident basic English.
• Strong attention to detail and a structured, reliable working style.
• Comfort working with Excel and financial systems.
• Practical experience in Accounting, Finance, Treasury, or Payment Operations is beneficial.
