What you will do

• Support development of the CBE timber and paper certification business in Western Europe and Americas (primarily FSC/PEFC COC certification and timber due diligence services).
• Coordinate communication with the Global Forestry Team and support the Global technical Manager in revising COC procedures and documents to meet accreditation standards.
• Provide timely technical support to assigned hirify.global affiliates and coordinate technical review of COC reports against accreditation requirements and certification decision-making.
• Perform technical internal office audits (L2) and conduct technical reviews of COC reports when required.
• Ensure proper maintenance of the FSC database, FSC trademark approval service, and required accreditation records; attend accreditation body audits and follow up on CARs, complaints, and appeals.
• Set up and maintain initial/update trainings for COC auditors, act as Tutor for COC Lead Auditor Trainings, and support auditor competence, hiring, training, and registration.

Requirements

• FSC COC Lead Auditor qualification (must have).
• Forestry Chain of Custody Lead Auditor Trainer background/qualification.
• Tertiary education in Forest Management or Timber Engineering, or secondary education with equivalent professional training and work experience.
• Work experience in timber and/or paper industries.
• Audit and commercial experience related to product, including commercial proposal experience.
• English verbal and written communication skills for presentations and effective interaction with senior government officials and senior management.
