What you will do

• Source and procure raw materials, consumables, and services cost-effectively.
• Identify, evaluate, and audit suppliers to ensure compliance and quality standards.
• Negotiate contracts to optimize pricing, lead times, and terms.
• Liaise with Commercial and Production teams to align purchasing with operational needs.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.
• Manage purchase orders and track supplier performance.

Requirements

• CIPS qualification or working towards CIPS level is essential.
• Previous experience in a purchasing, procurement, or supply chain role.
• Understanding of supplier management and contract negotiation.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory control processes.
• Full driving licence.

• Experience within manufacturing, chemical, or industrial environments.
