What you will do

• Administer enterprise Linux systems across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and OCI platforms.
• Perform OS installation and maintenance using automated tools like Kickstart, Jumpstart, and Ignite.
• Implement security hardening, apply OS patches, and manage firmware updates according to SOPs.
• Troubleshoot complex systems, networks, and high-availability environments to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Manage user accounts, monitor system logs, and resolve OS-related issues during maintenance windows.
• Support 24x7x365 operations, including incident resolution and vendor support coordination.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Linux/UNIX system administration and troubleshooting high-availability systems.
• Hands-on experience with automated provisioning tools (Kickstart, Jumpstart, Ignite).
• Knowledge of OS patching, security hardening, monitoring, and backup tools.
• Familiarity with Apache, WebLogic, Oracle DB, and Tuxedo.
• Ability to pass a Tier 4/HIGH Background Investigation.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or 8 years of relevant experience.
