Location: 100% On-site at the Austin Information Technology Center (AITC), Austin, TX.

What you will do

• Analyze and resolve compatibility issues for Windows-based applications prior to containerization.
• Convert IIS-hosted .NET applications into Linux-compatible containerized workloads on OpenShift/Kubernetes.
• Develop and optimize multi-stage Dockerfiles to improve deployment speed and reduce image size.
• Migrate legacy .NET Framework applications to .NET 6/7/8 for cross-platform execution.
• Integrate NuGet package management and artifact versioning into Tekton/Argo CD pipelines.
• Configure Kestrel, reverse proxies, and ingress routing for containerized ASP.NET Core applications.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a Tier 2/Moderate Background Investigation.
• Must be available to work 100% on-site in Austin, TX (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST).
• Expert-level proficiency with Kubernetes, including cluster design and resource optimization.
• Deep knowledge of .NET (C#) and the transition from .NET Framework to .NET Core.
• Strong expertise in Red Hat OpenShift, Docker, Podman, Helm, Argo CD, and Tekton.
• Master’s degree in a technical discipline plus 10+ years of experience (or 20 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree).
